Life doesn’t always fit into a 9-to-5 schedule, and neither do we. We’re here with fresh flowers seven days a week, from early morning to late evening—whether you’re planning ahead, celebrating a special occasion or need a beautiful bouquet at the last minute.

Flowers After Hours began in 1990 and was led for more than 30 years by master florist Wendy Hart. She built a much-loved Auckland flower shop and a wonderful team, many of whom have been part of its story for years.

A new chapter

In 2022, Wendy began looking for someone to carry the business forward. That person was Karen, who took over in August that year after a career specialising in people, culture, brand and business transformation.

Wendy and the team generously shared what they knew, helping Karen get to know the business from the inside. Their experience and love of flowers are still a big part of Flowers After Hours today.

Since Karen took over, Flowers After Hours has grown from its flagship Parnell store to four stores across Auckland.
